Rena Amer - Senior Consultant

Rena is a communications professional with over 10 years of experience in industries that include information technology, pharmaceuticals and consumer-packaged goods. She started her career in broadcast journalism, reporting on local news events. Rena later transitioned into marketing. As marketing manager for a software company, she planned a 2 MM budget and acquired market share for the property management and homebuilder software segments. On the agency side, she ran multi-million dollar campaigns involving sampling programs, online marketing, and web development along with tie in to print, radio and television. Clients included American Express, Sony Electronics, Proctor & Gamble and brands owned previously by Warner Lambert and Carter Wallace. Her successes include 41% over delivery on a new product launch, developing creative strategies to increase profit margins and establishing partnerships for future corporate gain. Rena has lived in the Middle East and Europe and is fluent in two languages. She has a excellent understanding of the Canadian marketplace. She obtained a B.A.A,. Radio and Television Arts from 1990-1994 from Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto, ON and Diploma in Applied Journalism and TV Production from the National Institute of Broadcasting also in Toronto, ON.
