Jack Macauley – Senior Vice President

Jack has more than 25 years experience as a senior-level corporate communications and public relations practitioner. His expertise includes internal and external communications strategy, crisis management and corporate affairs staff development. Macauley has led communications teams in more than 50 countries. Following his career as a journalist, Macauley helped to build RJR Nabisco’s first international corporate-affairs network. He later became a full-time consultant to companies at the European headquarters of Hill and Knowlton International. In 1994, Macauley created The Americas Group and built a proprietary regional network of associate firms in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. Operating standards for group members encouraged the development and collaboration of pan-regional accounts, an entirely new concept in that region. Major clients of The Americas Group included Chrysler Corporation, Pepsi International, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Northern Telecom and Bank of Boston. Macauley then held several senior international corporate-affairs posts at Philip Morris International and Altria. Macauley has been a frequent guest lecturer on corporate communications and public relations at various universities.
