Aniko Czinege - CEO

Aniko Czinege is a leading organizational change and internal communications specialist with more than 20 years of experience working with global corporations including General Electric, TNT, GlaxoSmithKline, Thorn EMI and Toyota. Her experience working directly with senior management and functional areas such as sales, marketing, communications and human resources in a variety of countries and cultures brings a unique perspective to Workwise Communication.

Aniko has a track record of developing change communication strategies that allow front-line employees to understand and thrive in the midst of organizational change initiatives. Case studies of her work have been published in Strategic Communication Management, Human Resource Management, Melcrum, Business Communicator and the UK Institute of Public Relations books “Effective Internal Communications” and “The Public Relations Handbook” – 3rd edition.

Before founding Workwise Communication, Aniko was global internal communications director at GE Healthcare (previously Amersham Biosciences). One of her key projects was the change communication necessitated by an extensive restructuring program aimed at reducing a multimillion-dollar deficit. The organization achieved breakeven two months early without significant impact on top line performance. This project has been published as a best practice case study of how to use change communication to drive business objectives.

Prior to joining GE, Aniko spent over six years at the first WPP start up – the change and internal communication and branding consultancy Banner McBride (MCA) in the United Kingdom. As a founding member and client director, she led projects for BP, Carrier, Ericsson, GSK, Getronics/Wang, Le Meridien, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Shell, SmithKline Beecham, Textron, TNT, Toyota, and Wilkinson Sword, giving the unique perspective that comes from working in multi-cultural environments.

Aniko is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), Council for Communication Management (CCM) Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association, and Society of Human Resource Management.
